Granola bars are easy and simple to make at home and stays good for up to a week. These granola bars are an excellent grab and go breakfast, you can quickly grab a piece of granola bar before stepping out of the door to work and have it on the go. Oatmeal and dry fruits together make a healthy and filling breakfast for everyone. Kids would also love this sweet and chewy granola bars. Oats and dry fruits together make us feel fuller and energetic for a long time. Smart Cooking Tips:

1. You can add any of your favorite dry fruits and nuts like cashew nuts, pistachios, hemp seeds, chopped dates, dried cranberries in this recipe. If you would like to add chocolate chips, add it at the end after transferring the oats mixture to the parchment lined plate.

2. Measure exact 2 cups of oats if you add an extra amount of oats then binding and shaping the bars would become difficult.

3. Use a sharp knife for shaping the bars this helps to cut the bars evenly without getting the oats mixture to fall apart.

4. Avoid boiling the butter and honey mixture for a long time because it makes the granola bars harder instead of chewy.

Chewy Oatmeal Granola Bar:

As we all know oatmeal is an ideal breakfast for everyone that provides carbs, fiber, vitamins, minerals, and anti-oxidants. The carbs and fiber content in the oats keep us fuller and energetic for a long time. Oats, dry fruits, honey, and butter together makes a healthy and chewy granola bars. You can tweak granola bars recipes according to your taste by adding peanut butter, grounded dates, almond butter or coconut oil. Ingredients
  • 2 cups Quaker Oats
  • 0.50 cup Honey
  • 0.25 cup Butter
  • 0.50 cup Raisins
  • 30 no Roasted Almonds
Instructions
  1. Line a wide plate with the parchment paper and keep it ready. 

  2. In a saucepan, melt butter, add honey and mix well. Cook until the honey and butter together comes to a boil. Add oats, raisins, almonds and mix well. 

  3. Transfer to a plate lined with parchment paper and spread evenly and form a thick square. Flatten using the back of a spatula to a smooth and flat surface.

  4. Refrigerate for an hour and cut them into 8 bars using a sharp knife and serve or store for up to a week in the refrigerator.
