Smart Cooking Tips:

1. Whole wheat flour can replace with all-purpose flour, canola oil with vegetable oil or coconut oil and flax seeds powder with egg.

2. The cookie dough will be slightly dry, so it ‘s hard to shape them into cookie shapes using a spoon. Use hands to roll into small balls and press with your palm gently to flatten it.

3. You can use dark chocolate chips or white chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet chocolate chips.

4. Avoid over baking the cookies, 8 – 10 minutes is enough. Over baking tends to make the cookies harder.

A delicious treat for kids:

Chocolate cookies are the tasty treat for kids that taste so soft and chocolatey. These cookies are an excellent snack for kids; you can pack in a snack box or serve as an after school evening snack.

Whenever we plan for picnics or road long trip at home, I bake these cookies and pack in an airtight container.

Because chocolate cookies stay good for at least three days at room temperature, and kids can enjoy it without making a mess.

It helps to keep the kids feel fuller and energetic for a long time.
