Weather is getting warmer here in Indy and time to relish some frozen treats, this frozen pineapple whip is perfect for any hot summer day. Mildly sweet, tart, creamy and loaded with the pineapple goodness and flavor. Pineapple whip is made with natural ingredients, comparatively healthier than any other store bought treats. Healthy, Gluten-Free and Vegan frozen treat without any artificial preservatives or colors, kids would love this frozen treat. To make it, even healthier replace the sugar with stevia or any natural low-calorie sweetener or the sweetness from pineapple is enough for your taste bud, you could skip adding the sweetener.

Dole Pineapple whip is the Dole (Fruit and Vegetable) company’s product. However, Dole Pineapple Whip become popular after started serving in the Disney land. Caramel corn, dole pineapple whip, and mickey mouse ice cream bar are my favorite snacks in Disney Land. Disney Dole Pineapple Whip is a soft-serve frozen treat that is perfect for the hot weather while waiting in the queue for the rides.

What do you need to make Disney Dole Whip at home?
- Frozen Pineapple Chunks
- Coconut Milk or Almond Milk
- Lemon Juice
- Sugar (optional) depending on the sweetness of your pineapple
- Blender or Food Processor
- Serving Bowls and Spoons
Frozen pineapple chunks are easily available in many retailers. However, fresh pineapples are available all throughout the year. Especially, the pineapples that you get in the summer are more flavorful and sweet comparatively. My family loves pineapple, so I buy 3 – 4 pineapples at my local grocery store, cut them into smaller chunks and store them in a freezer for the delicious treats in the summer.
I used thick full fat coconut milk in this recipe, you could use almond milk as well. While blending add the coconut milk first in the blender jar then add the frozen pineapple chunks that help to blend without getting stuck. Though you may have to stop the blender in between and give a mix using a spatula for a creamy texture Pineapple whip. I used my Blendtec blender it did the best job for me!!

- 2 cups Frozen Pineapple Chunks
- 0.25 cup Coconut Milk or Almond Milk
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 tbsp Sugar (depending on the sweetness of your pineapple)
