Smart Cooking Tips:
- You can add other dry fruits like raisins, pistachios, and fig.
Soaking the nuts in warm milk helps to grind smooth.
- Adjust adding milk according to your desired consistency. I like slightly thick and creamy consistency, so I added a cup of milk. If you want a thinner consistency, add an additional amount of milk and blend.
The sweetness from dates is enough if you prefer more sweetness add sugar or honey according to your taste.
I am using the high power blender “Blendtec” and it is my favourite kitchen tool. I am using Blendtec for more than three years now and still working like a new one. I use it for at least 10 times in a week from grinding batters for Idli, Dosa to make smoothies.
It just grinds even the lentils, chickpeas and nuts to a fine texture. The best and my favourite part is it just fits under the kitchen cabinet comfortably and easy to clean the jars.

Often you can get a better deal for the refurbished Blendtec from the Blendtec company itself. Check out for the refurbished Blendtec.
