How to make chocolate mousse?

Traditionally chocolate mousse recipe includes egg yolks and a little amount of alcohol. My little son Aldrich is allergic to eggs, so I decided to make the eggless chocolate mousse. I tried eggless chocolate mousse several times, all the time, it ended up in a thick textured mousse. So I tried melting the chocolate chips by different methods and still I didn’t satisfy with the taste. Finally, I learned that adding the chocolate chips and the heavy whipping cream in a right quantity helps to make a smooth, creamy and light chocolate mousse.

3. Chocolate chips and heavy whipping cream should be in a right measurement. Adding more quantity of chocolate chips ended up in a thick and hard textured mousse. The heavy whipping cream helps to make a light and creamy mousse.

4. Set the chocolate mousse in a desired dessert cups for at least 2 hours in a refrigerator before serving.
