How to make a perfect fish appetizer?
The fish finger is an excellent appetizer; it is crunchy, tasty and delicious in flavor. The Indian spices make it an exclusive dish. The secret to making a perfect dish is in the preparation.
Choosing the fish for making fish fingers recipe:
You could use any variety of boneless and skinless fish to make this recipe, but I prefer making it with Tilapia. Fish is also rich in protein, making it a slightly healthier option for a snack.
Slicing the fish is another important step in this recipe. Slice it thinly, so it would get cooked evenly and helps to get the crispy texture on the outside without getting burned.
I used panko bread crumbs; these give a nice crispy texture to the fish finger. However, you can also use other varieties of dry bread crumbs, or even a seasoned one also.
Spices give an excellent flavor and help to get rid of the strong smell of the fish, which I know many people hate fish just for this smell.
You can try other variations using your favorite spices for marinating and adjust adding it according to your taste.
