- 1.50 cup CHICKPEA FLOUR (BESAN)
- 1 cup RICE FLOUR WHITE
- 1 tbsp BUTTER WITHOUT SALT
- 1 tbsp PEPPER BLACK
- 1 tbsp PEPPER RED OR CAYENNE
- 0.50 tsp HING OR ASAFOETIDA
- 1 tsp SALT TABLE
In a bowl add besan flour, rice flour, salt, butter (soft butter at room temperature), red chili powder, freshly crushed black pepper and mix well.
Add water slowly and knead a soft dough. Fill the dough in the murukku maker and press on the hot oil.
Deep fry the kara sev over a medium heat until the color changes to golden brown.
