- 1 no Large Bottle Gourd (Lauki)
- 1 no Onion Medium Size Chopped
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 2 tbsp Coriander Leaves
- 2 tsp Salt (to taste)
- 1 tsp Pepper Powder
- 1 tsp Garlic Chopped
Wash, peel, and chop the lauki into small cubes.
In a saucepan, heat oil, add cumin seeds, chopped onion, garlic and cook until the onion becomes soft.
Add lauki cubes, coriander leaves, salt and enough amount of water just to cover the lauki pieces. Cover and cook until the lauki becomes soft.
Let it cool and blend to a smooth puree in the blender. Transfer to a saucepan again, add water if you want and bring the soup to your desired consistency. Bring to a boil, add pepper powder, mix well and serve.
