MANGO MOUSSE WITHOUT GELATIN. SIMPLE DESSERT MADE IN 5 MIN

MANGO MOUSSE WITHOUT GELATIN

Mango Mousse without gelatin is an easy and simple dessert to make in 5 minutes without cooking, baking, whipping or frying. A great party dessert for the crowd.

Easy desserts for a crowd:

Mango mousse is a crowd-pleasing dessert. From kids to adults, everyone loves this dessert. It is also easy to make this dessert in bulk. All you need is just 3 ingredients Mango, Whipped Heavy Cream and Powdered Sugar. Blending all the ingredients and chilling it in the refrigerator is all you need to start serving for your guests.

Whipped Heavy Cream

Mango mousse with mango pulp:

I used Mango pulp to make this recipe. You can make mango pulp at home or buy the readymade pulp . you get in the store. Either way using mango pulp will give you a smooth finish and ice cream like texture to this mousse.

Mango mousse without gelatin:

Traditionally Gelatin is used in these type of sweet desserts to give it a thick consistency. As you know, Gelatin is a protein made from animal products and popularly debated for many health issues.

I totally avoided gelatin in this recipe, so this mousse will be creamy and not as thick as you would find in restaurants. However, I liked it this way and did not find a significant difference, though.

Quick and easy dessert:

Desserts are usually tasty, and the best ones are the ones that we can make it quickly. I love these easy and quick desserts because I do not have to plan too much to make it. Especially if you have kids, this is a lifesaver if you can make it in 5 mins without many ingredients.

Fun dessert recipe for kids:

As I mentioned earlier, this is a great recipe for kids. A healthy alternative to ice cream, since it is made with mango and milk without any artificial flavors or preservatives.

Smart Cooking Tips:

1. Traditionally this recipe is made with heavy cream by whipping the cream using a hand mixer until creamy. However, I used store bought whipped heavy cream, I just mix it with a spoon for an excellent smooth texture

2. Store bought Heavy whipped cream is light and fluffy in texture compared to homemade whipped cream. So I just increased the quantity.

3.I used fresh mango puree; you can also use canned mango puree that is available in stores.

4.I used powdered sugar if you do not have it you can just powder the regular granulated sugar in mixer.

5. Adjust adding sugar according to the sweetness of the mango puree.

6.Traditionally this recipe includes gelatin that helps to give a thick consistency. I did not add gelatin though turned out good.

7.I used chopped Almonds for garnishing; you can also use chocolate chips and cherries.

Chilled Creamy Mango Dessert for summer:

Mango is naturally sweet in taste and flavorful, which is perfect for this recipe. It blends well with the milk products and makes a creamy dessert. This dessert tastes better and more delicious after chilled in the refrigerator for 2 – 3 hours. Because of its cold and smooth consistency, it is a perfect treat on hot summer.
