Potato pepper fry is an easy and spicy South Indian recipe that goes well with rice varieties. It is simple to make in just a few mins.

Ingredients
  • 2 no POTATO (medium size)
  • 1 cup ONION CHOPPED
  • 1 tsp RED CHILI POWDER
  • 1 tsp CORIANDER POWDER
  • 1 tsp SALT
  • 1 tsp PEPPER POWDER
  • 10 no CURRY LEAVES
  • 2 tbsp OIL
  • 0.25 tsp TURMERIC POWDER
Instructions
  1. Dice the potatoes into slightly bigger cubes. Chop the onions finely.

  2. Boil the potatoes until tender. In a pan, heat oil, add chopped onion, curry leaves and cook until the onion becomes soft.

  3. Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt and mix well. Sprinkle little amount of water and cook until the spices lose its raw smell.

  4. Add boiled potatoes, salt, pepper powder and mix well. Cook until the potatoes color changes to golden brown.
