South Indian spicy tomato chutney is an easy and delicious side dish for Idli and Dosa in 20 minutes.
In a pan heat oil add chopped onion, garlic and cook until the onion becomes soft.
Add the chopped tomato and cook until it becomes soft. Keep stirring in between to avoid burning the tomatoes.
Add coriander powder, red chili powder, salt and mix well. Cook until the coriander powder loses its raw smell. Allow it to cool and grind it to smooth paste.
