Peanut chikki is an easy and delicious snack with caramelized sugar and peanuts. It is simple to make at home with only 2 ingredients and stays good for a month.

  • 2 cups Peanuts
  • 1.50 cup Sugar
  1. In a microwave-safe plate, spread the peanuts in a single layer and roast the peanuts for 4 to 5 minutes until crispy or until the color changes to golden brown. Take out the peanuts at every single minute and give a quick mix.

  2. Allow the peanuts to cool, rub in between your palms and remove the skin. Pulse the peanuts in a blender or mixer until the coarse powder.

  3. Grease the rolling pin and knife with ghee and keep it ready. It helps to roll and shape the chikkis smoothly.

  4. In a pan, add sugar and melt over a low to medium heat without adding water. Add crushed peanuts and mix well quickly.

  5. Transfer the peanut mixture on a parchment paper and roll into flat using a rolling pin. 

  6. Cut them into small squares using a sharp knife when it is still warm, break down into small squares and serve or store in an airtight container.
