Fish Manchurian is an easy and delicious Indo-Chinese fish recipe. Fish seasoned with spices, deep fried and cooked in a Manchurian gravy.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb SALMON PINK RAW
  • 1 no EGG WHL
  • 2 tbsp CORNSTARCH
  • 1.5 tsp SALT TABLE
  • 0.5 tsp PEPPER BLACK
  • 1 tsp GINGER GARLIC PASTE
  • 2 tsp PEPPER RED OR CAYENNE
  • 2 tbsp TOMATO SAUCE
  • 1 tbsp SOY SAUCE
  • 0.5 cup OIL
  • 1 tsp GARLIC RAW
  • 2 no GREEN CHILIES
  • 1 cup ONIONS RAW
  • 0.25 cup WATER
Instructions
  1. Cut the salmon fillet into small cubes. 

  2. In a bowl add fish cubes, salt, pepper, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, corn flour, egg and mix well.

  3. Heat oil in a pan and shallow or deep fry the fish over a medium flame until the color changes to golden brown or until the fish turns to crispy.

  4. In a separate pan, heat 2 tbsp of oil (you can use the left over oil after frying the fish), add chopped garlic and saute until nice garlic aroma comes out.

  5. Add chopped onion, green chilies and cook until the onion becomes soft.

  6. Add tomato sauce, soy sauce, salt, water and mix well. Cook until the sauce becomes thick.

  7. Add the fried fish and mix gently. Fish manchurain is ready to serve.
