Watermelon Mint Juice

Watermelon mint juice is a healthy, light and refreshing summer drink. It tastes delicious with lemon and mint flavor.

Excellent Summer Drink:

As we all know watermelon serves as an excellent treat in the summer, it helps to keep us hydrated. In the summer, we all crave for the cool drinks and juices. Especially, kids spend lots of energy in the outdoor and keeping them hydrated is important. Replace the sugary and artificially flavored store bought juices with this healthy, fresh, and natural watermelon juice.

Watermelon mint juice is a delicious and natural drink that helps to quench our thirst and keep our system cool in the summer.

Smart Cooking Tips:

  1. Adding mint leaves are optional.

  2. Use seedless watermelon for this juice recipe. If you are using watermelon with seeds, blend and strain the juice using a fine mesh strainer.

  3. You can replace the sugar with honey. Add sugar or honey according to the sweetness of the watermelon.

Health Benefits of Watermelon:

Watermelon is rich in water content and helps to keep us hydrated. The fiber content in the watermelon promotes digestion and relieves constipation. It is also excellent source of Vitamin A that promotes skin and hair health. Watermelon juice is wonderful pre-workout drink. It keeps us hydrated and energetic in high-intensity exercises.

Though there are lots of health benefits in watermelon, consuming in moderation is good. Sometimes the lycopene content in watermelon causes nausea, bloating and diarrhea.

Ingredients
  • 2 Cups Watermelon Seedless Cubed
  • 0.50 Lemon (Juice from half a lemon)
  • 4 Number Mint Leaves
  • 1 tbsp Sugar or Honey
Instructions
  1. Blend watermelon, lemon juice, mint leaves, sugar and blend until smooth. You can strain the juice using the strainer for a thin juice. Serve chilled.

Serve watermelon mint juice chilled.
